Are the documents drafted on WillCraft legally valid?

The documents generated are 100% formally valid.

We're owned by a law firm, and have lawyers on hand to review your document if you choose - simply select a time-slot in the interface to schedule a review.

I've got a previous Will done by a lawyer. What do I do to update the Will?

In Singapore, there are two ways of updating a will - (1) via a codicil, and (2) simply doing another will.

Codicils are rarely used because of it's complexity and costs.

Accordingly, we recommend that you simply do another Will that revokes your old one. Our wills automatically includes a revocation clause to ensure that this is covered.

I've got a previous Will done by a lawyer. Can WillCraft update it for me?

All our wills include revocation clauses that revoke your previous Will.

Accordingly, all you need to do to 'update' your will is to do a new Will with WillCraft, and it will automatically overwrite the old one.

Do I need to enter details of all my assets in order to complete the Will?

WillCraft allows you to allocate your assets generally. An example of a general allocation is where you would like to give all your assets to your children equally.

If you decide to make such a general allocation, you would not need to provide details of all your assets to complete the Will.
